Indie Hell Zone knows old Jimmy well, and says new Jimmy is "a re-release for the hard RPG sickos". Is "hard RPG" a genre or just a description? can Jimmy be both?

I think there are some things which can be only at most exactly the most vivid observation of something intrinsically just intrisic but which gains comedic cachet from a shared recognition with a pithy expression. I suppose that's the nature of observational humor. Is that what's going on here? Just the silly joy of being.
